The Iowa County Veterans Tribute is a community-led initiative dedicated to honoring local veterans through a permanent public memorial in the heart of Williamsburg, Iowa. The project aims to create a dignified tribute that recognizes the service and sacrifice of veterans — past, present, and future — while replacing an small existing memorial in the Williamsburg City Square.
The Challenge
As a grassroots effort entering a critical fundraising phase ahead of the May 2026 banquet, the committee needed to move beyond informal, legacy communications. They required a professional, unified brand and digital presence to build awareness, inspire donations, reduce barriers to involvement, and turn community support into meaningful momentum.

We focused on creating a respectful brand that honors the gravity of the mission while feeling approachable and modern. The approach centered on three priorities:

We built a complete brand system from the ground up, including a dedicated website that serves as the central hub for the project.
Professional Brand Identity A cohesive visual system (logo, color palette, typography, and guidelines) that positions the tribute as a lasting symbol of honor and community gratitude.
